SAES provides several services for power producers around the globe. Our commercial and site experience can seamlessly integrate various components of any power project (financing, engineering, design, procurement, and construction) regardless of whether the end user is a private, government, or joint entity.
Because SAES is an independently owned company, it is agile and flexible to meet each project’s individual requirements. SAES is fully accountable to its customers.
Turnkey Power Plant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction
SAES designs and builds ‘turnkey’ power plants, including the provision of operations and maintenance services after the sale. Projects are offered with a complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) supervisory capability, and the management of all engineering disciples and construction trades (EPCM).
SAES specializes in a modular plant design that enables plants to be built rapidly, fulfilling fast track project obligations. SAES has executed complete power plant projects in as little as six months from contract signing to commissioning.
Power Plant Options
Each facility can be designed to utilize a variety of industrial and/or aeroderivative gas turbine generator sets for simple or combined cycle operation. Alternatively, provisions for conversion to a combined cycle operation at a later date can be built into the plant design. SAES also installs steam turbines from a variety of OEMs and has experience installing gas turbine generators utilizing a variety of fuel sources including natural gas, #2 diesel, and alternative liquid fuels.
SAES can provide the following additional equipment:
- Inlet chilling systems for greater combustion efficiency
- Enhanced air emissions control technology including DLE/ DLN systems or water injection
- Water treatment plants for process and/or human consumption
Supply of Additional Plant Equipment
All required balance-of-plant (BOP) equipment and plant auxiliaries are included for reliable and safe production of electricity. Rotating equipment include appropriate enclosures where required for weather protection and noise containment.
SAES’s power generation and industrial services include the supply of plant equipment that require power engineering or controls engineering. These systems include boiler control systems, boiler economizers, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), and burner management systems (BMS).
Full-Service Turbomachinery Solutions
SAES offers a variety of professional services for ongoing projects that can increase the reliability of existing equipment. As a full service turbomachinery provider, SAES inspects and repairs all rotating equipment from a complete overhaul to upgrades and component replacement. This returns the turbine or its peripheral systems to their original levels of efficiency and performance.
SAES performs advanced diagnostic services, such as DLE mapping, to increase efficiency and lower emissions. Furthermore, SAES provides professional site evaluations, including failure-modes-and-effects analyses (FMEAs), to provide a comprehensive analysis of plant needs and unit conditions.
